Habeas Data
A downloadable game for Windows
Upon discovering that you are adopted, you begin an investigation to find out the origin of your biological roots. It's a short story inspired by the history of thousands of people who are still looking for their roots, lost under Argentina's Military Dictatorship. Argentina's military dictatorship between 1976 and 1953 included theft of babies —with concealment of their true identity— and disappearance of people. But also a fierce censorship towards journalists, artists, writers, poets, singers.
This game's soundtrack was inspired on censored songs during the dictatorship, to guide you in this little but meaningful personal story. Those songs are:
Charly Garcia - Dinosaurios
Charly Garcia - Nos siguen pegando abajo
Mercedes Sosa - Como la cigarra
